About Get Involved
Get Involved's three year tenure at central London venue The Social saw some legendary nights involving blistering DJ sets and a whole lot of audience participation as tambourines, maracas and various other musical instruments were dished out to the crowd and enthusiastically bashed to an undeniably infectious soundtrack of rock'n'roll, rhythm'n'blues, garage and soul.
While the monthly sessions have wound down (for now) Get Involved founder G the P's musical selections will still seep out into the world via this website and the attached blog, and at G's other nights; Gerry's Joint up at The Boogaloo in Highgate (now in it's fifth year!); Shing-A-Ling every Friday night at The Smithfield Tavern in Clerkenwell – as well as at various other events, parties and festivals.
